"Intelligence in Perspective"

What is The Global Times Review?

The Global Times Review (GTR) is a global issues publication founded by Sam Kessler in 2001 while attending Bradley University, which presented the opportunity for students to contribute "Think Pieces" pertaining to areas in direct relation to their studies. As a result, a diverse range of topics were introduced to the student body such as: Russian and Chinese relations with the U.S.; European Union politics and enlargement; nuclear disarmament; womens rights issues; environmental concerns and the green movement; and business and financial matters in the global economy.

The Global Times Review became a success on Bradley's campus and was often introduced in classrooms as a student resource or  used as a learning tool by professors to get their students more interested in international affairs. When Sam Kessler graduated from Bradley in 2003, the idea of starting up a similar publication was always in the back of his mind, however serving as an NGO/United Nations Liaison and later having worked in the financial investment sector, he never seemed to find the right time in his life to begin it until now.

The Global Times Review has returned and will be satisfying a larger audience. It  will consist of the following topics:

1.) Foreign Affairs and current events

2.) US Politics

3.) Economic Policy Making

4.) Business/Financial Regulatory Issues/Events

5.) Green Movement/Sustainable Development

6.) Health/Humanitarian issues

7.) United Nations/International Institutions

8.) Peace and Conflict Resolution

9.) Arts, culture and leisure activities
